The Pope

i haven't been to bookstores for quite some time until today. at a stand, i saw newly-published books about Pope Benedict XVI with his photos on the cover. how i miss Pope John Paul II... i stared at Pope Benedict's photos. i still can't reconcile the fact that he is now our Pope. i'm hoping for the same charismatic figure, like that of Pope John Paul II to spring out from his photo.

our Pope Benedict XVI, we would like to know you more so our hearts will be closer to you.

even if it's difficult to fully accept the reality that popes are people too who are mortals and therefore there will really be transitions, i believe Heaven has the best reason why we now should have Pope Benedict XVI as our shepherd here on earth because even if the Catholic Church has experienced many changes, she still is Christ's bride, who He has and who He will always watch over.
